Obituary of Charles L. McMeen

Charles Leonard McMeen, age 91, of Chester, PA, died Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Mr. McMeen was born in Philadelphia, PA, and had been a resident of Chester, PA, for 50 years. Mr. McMeen was a graduate of John Bartram High School, Philadelphia, PA. He worked with United Press International, as a Teletype Engineer, and previously worked with Wyeth Laboratory. Charles was a veteran of the US Army serving during World War II. He was a member of the West End Boat Club. Charles was the husband of the late Helen M. Jamison McMeen; and son of the late Leonard and Irma McMeen.
