Prof. Cherim had been a kind, most helpful mentor for me when I arrived in this area from Saratoga Springs, NY, 33 years ago. He made me an adjunct instructor at DCCC and advised me on other opportunities to teach Chemistry. Some of my courses utilized his texts. I send my heartfelt condolences.

Stan was the perfect Community College Professor! I was not particularly aware of his publications; but as a counselor, I witnessed many times his ability to involve and awaken students. What could be a better legacy!
