Obituary of Stanley M. Cherim
Prof. Stanley M. Cherim passed away on September 20, 2011 in Baltimore, MD, after a brief illness. He was retired and had been a much-celebrated specialist in the teaching of Chemistry, a Professor at DCCC and author of many textbooks, as well as other publications on his varied interests including industrial (labor) relations and the intersection of science and belief. Mr. Cherim was active in many social and religious groups and was a longtime member of the Society of Friends (Quakers). He had served as Clerk of Providence Friends Meeting in Media, PA, and was active in the Meeting's affairs for many years.
