Obituary of Joseph R. Smagala

Joseph R. Smagala, age 73, a resident of Brookhaven, PA, died on January 18, 2023. Joe was born on August 29, 1949 to the late Hedwig Flasinski and Joseph F. Smagala. Joe graduated from Archmere Academy High School and Georgetown University. He worked for more than 40 years as a reginal sales manager for multiple banks.

He was passionate about boating, yellow labs and his twin daughters. He was quite literally the life of the party, and will be missed by family and friends alike.

He leaves behind his wife, Catherine Smagala and his twin daughters, Amy and Jenni Smagala and a brother, Tom Smagala.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 25^th from 10:00-10:45AM at the  Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 25^th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
