Obituary of Mary A. Stinson

Mary A. (Curry) Stinson, “Marie” age 86, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Upland, PA, died at home on Saturday, January 13, 2024.  Marie was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA, Class of 1955.

Marie was devoted to her job working at Providence Pediatrics for 46 years, retiring in 2022. She was a longtime parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA.

Marie enjoyed traveling and camping. She was a talented cook and an avid reader.  Marie was devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Marie will be deeply missed.

Wife of the late John N. Stinson, who died in 2006, Daughter of the late Francis X. and Julia A. (Wilson) Curry, Sr., Sister of the late Francis X. Curry, Jr., and Sharon Ranoia.

Survivors:

Sons: Irvin R. Stinson and Joachim (Susan) Stinson

Daughters: Rebecca (Mark Murphy) Lunness and Maria (Michael Kaplan) Johnson

Sister: Elaine Mayo

Grandchildren: Amanda (Andy) Stinson, Heather Stinson, Joe (Aubrey) DelVescovo, Robert (Jamie) Stinson, Catie (Bruce) Snyder, Nicole Stinson, Charles Slowey, Senta Johnson

Great-Grandchildren: Anthony, Quintin, Damion, Adriana, Peyton, Brayden, Mia, Bruce, Cameron, Vinny, Theo

Visitation: Friday, January 19^th from 9:30-10:15AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA, 19063.

Funeral Mass: Friday, January 19^th at 11:00AM at the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
