It’s hard to put into words how much those "Yo, Coll" greetings meant, how they always made me feel seen and understood.
We shared memories that will always stay with me—laughter, mischief, and countless moments of just being kids. Life took us down different paths, but every time we crossed each other’s, it was like no time had passed.
Rest easy, my friend. You’ll always have a special place in my heart, and I’ll never forget the warmth of your "Yo! Coll." Until we meet again.
He will be greatly missed. Sending love, hugs and prayers to all of you in this difficult time.
Mike and Family, there are no words I can say that can ease your saddness. Just want to know that your son touched many souls. It is hard to lose a child, no parent should ever go through that. You and your family are in our prayers and we are here if you need us. God Bless
I was very sad to hear the news of Steve's passing. My condolences to the Hess family. I grew up with Steve in Brookhaven. He was always a great guy, easy to get along with, and a great sport. May he rest in peace.
So very sorry for your loss. Did not know Steve well, but found him to be a really nice guy. Polite, friendly and kind.
Prayers for all.

Steve was a treasured member of the staff at West Chester Borough. He was selfless, and always looked out for all of us. He didn’t view his job as enforcement, instead he assisted in helping people regain control of their properties and ultimately their well- being and lives. He cared tremendously for everyone he served. Everyday he filled a candy jar for staff to enjoy. Every single day. We miss him tremendously, and he made a difference on the lives he touched.
